This policy explains what Verdele Labs collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.

Who we are

Verdele Labs is the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at hello@verdelelabs.com with any question about this policy or about information we hold.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and your description of the workflow you want to discuss. We do not ask for payment details, credentials, or special category personal data, and you should not include them.

The form includes a hidden field that real visitors never see. It exists to detect automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not set analytics or marketing cookies on this site. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry to reply to you and to assess whether we can help with the workflow you described. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build a marketing profile or add you to a mailing list.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is read by the Verdele Labs team. Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes the request that carries your submission and keeps short-lived operational logs. Where we route enquiries into a business inbox or a customer record system, that provider processes the message on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally, it is covered by the transfer safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it takes to answer you and, where a conversation leads to work, for the life of that engagement plus the period our records obligations require. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer useful for the conversation you started. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, write to hello@verdelelabs.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are in the UK or the EU and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated on the server, and we limit how often the endpoint can be called from the same source. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us confidential credentials or sensitive personal data through the form.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
